Lil Wayne Signs Football Player To Young Money Sports

University of Texas linebacker Malik Jefferson just recently declared for the 2018 NFL Draft, and it did not
take long for the former top rated high school player from the State of Texas to make a decision on his representation.

Jefferson has chosen Young Money APAA Sports – the sports agency that includes Dwayne “ Lil Wayne ” Carter as a team member – as he transitions from college to the NFL.

The signing of Jefferson is the most significant to date for a small but growing Young Money APAA Sports football division that includes professional football players Lewis Neal, Reggie Northrup, Duke Riley, Khari Vanderbilt and Dede Westbrook. The agency has been active for the upcoming draft, signing wide receiver Keke Coutee from Texas Tech, Sun Belt defensive player of the year Jeremy Reaves and Murray State defensive back D’Montre Wade.

But Jefferson is the player who truly has the potential to put the Young Money APAA football division on the map. Jefferson could easily be a first round pick in 2018, which would be a first for the young agency.

Young Money APAA so that it is better able to recruit head-to-head against competitors, including Jay Z’s Roc Nation Sports agency, which was founded in 2013.
